english looks so plain in comparison. but the alphabet is shared by so many languages. that's what's so strange about english to me. that it borrows words that utilize that same alphabet differently. so none of the sounds make much sense. but it makes it easier to learn languages within that same... group.

i struggled to learn cursive. very difficult to write at all, but it's how i learned to control my focus more precisely. i can imagine. the way americans speak it sounds even more strange. why i never allowed myself to adopt their way.
